About The Event
Join Gavin (an Artist) and Justine (a Printmaker) for an incredible screen printing workshop at Putney School of Art and Design.
This event is free for LGBTQ+ refugees and asylum seekers. Please be aware that there are only 10 spaces, so register quickly to save your space.
Come and learn how to screen print with printmaker Justine and artist Gavin in an art school studio. We'll show you some starter techniques and help you through the day. You'll work in pairs and by the end of the day everyone will make a poster. It will be lots of fun and a good chance to learn a new skill.
Travel: East Putney tube on the District Line Wimbledon branch (3 minutes walk); Putney Station overground; buses to Putney High Street, Upper Richmond Road or Putney Bridge Road 37, 39, 220, 270, 337. The School is on the corner of Oxford Road and Disraeli Road;the entrance is on Oxford Road. Free tea, coffee and biscuits; bring your own lunch or there are lots of places on Putney High Street nearby.
We have a mask-wearing policy at the art school so please bring these! And best not to wear your best clothes!
