About The Event

In response to the Government’s Nationality and Borders Bill, Say It Loud Club are launching a public campaign against the proposed changes and to secure their withdrawal.

For this campaign to be successful, it must be led by our members with a lived experience of the UK asylum system, with the support of our team of volunteers and supporters.

Join our campaign kick-off workshop where we will be making important decisions about our campaign and communications strategies, and deciding how we will make the most of London Pride 2021 in September to amplify our campaign message and win support from the British public.

You don’t have to be a campaigning expert and you don’t have to feel super confident to come along. Everyone can bring a wide range of perspectives and ideas and together we can learn how to deliver our first full-scale public campaign!

This will be an afternoon workshop jointly facilitated by Aloysius and one of our volunteers, Sean. It will also be one of our first face-to-face meetings for both members and volunteers in a very long time!
